Meet Teri Rosendale

Trusted Check-In was created by Teri Rosendale, whose work with older adults has shown her how much a familiar voice can matter.

Through years of working in senior fitness, personal support, and community-based programs, Teri has seen that independence is about more than staying physically active. It is also about feeling noticed, respected, and connected.

Her approach is warm, practical, and dependable. Trusted Check-In reflects her belief that a simple check-in, done consistently and with care, can bring comfort to older adults and peace of mind to the families who love them.

Trusted Check-In was created from a simple belief: when family members live further away has work and care giving responsibilities or simply wants another trusted person involved.

More about Teri

How Trusted Check-In works

Trusted Check-In is not a replacement for family. It is an added layer of connection and reassurance.

1

We talk first

I learn about the client's routine, preferences, family contacts, and what should happen if they do not answer.

2

We create a simple plan

Together, we decide the check-in days, preferred time, phone or text preference, and follow-up steps.

3

Check-ins begin

I check in as scheduled, offer friendly connection, and follow the plan if something feels unusual.

4

Family is updated when needed

If there is a concern, I contact the designated person according to the plan.

Trusted Check-In may be a good fit for someone who:

Trusted Check-In can help when family lives farther away, has work and caregiving responsibilities, or simply wants another trusted person involved.

  • Lives alone or spends much of the day alone
  • Is independent but would benefit from regular contact
  • Would appreciate another familiar person in their circle of support
  • Does not need full caregiving, but would appreciate a dependable check-in
  • Wants to stay independent with an added layer of support

Trusted Check-In is a reassurance and follow-up service. It is not medical care, emergency response, or hands-on personal care.

Having Teri check in on our aging parents has been such a blessing. They still live independently, but we live two hours away, so knowing Teri is there brings us real peace of mind. My parents look forward to seeing her every time - they wish she would just move in!
